Invisible Security takes it responsibility to the community very seriously, this why we sponsor and co-ordinate a local scheme called SceneWATCH. Once a month all 11 members meet to discuss persons whom are a threat to customer, staff or livelihood.
Through this sharing of information and discussion of trends in behaviour Invisible Security can advise members of how to deal with problems they might experience. By working closely with local council and police authorities this gives us the power to make a difference.
SceneWATCH has been set up with very clear objectives:
• Promoting a safe environment
• Challenging homophobic attitudes and behaviour
• Reducing disorderly conduct
• Improve collusion between venues, Police and Council
• Promote and increase the reporting of hate related crime and anti social behaviour
• Identify and name those who offend
• Prevention of 'club hopping'
• Encourage people to reform
• Demonstrate a fair and unbiased scheme
